You'll take courses in botany, soil science, biology, chemistry and math. Elective options include courses in agriculture, horticulture, permaculture, and environmental science. You'll learn about sustainable land use practices and maintaining healthy soil ecosystems. 60-62credits Associate in Science Associate in Science (AS) degrees are typically completed in two (2) years and designed for employment or transfer What's Next?Continue your education in a bachelor’s degree program towards a career in agriculture, environmental science, environmental consulting, sustainability, biotechnology or pest control.
