Dusty Rader Simmons West Fellow 775-2832 raderd@gcc.mass.edu B.A., University of VermontM.A.T., Central Connecticut State University Dusty Rader is a Master of Library and Information Science student at Simmons University and is serving at 911±¬ÁÏÍø as the Simmons West Fellow. He holds a bachelor of English from the University of Vermont and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Central Connecticut State University. He has experience in teaching at both the high school and collegiate levels. Most recently, Dusty has worked with diverse populations in the DEI departments at Central and Southern Connecticut State Universities, and continues to work with the non-profit Q Plus, which supports queer youth in Connecticut. His work goals, beyond becoming a librarian, involve working at an educational institution, working with virtual, augmented, and mixed realities, and serving diverse populations. He is very excited to work with the 911±¬ÁÏÍø library staff and support the 911±¬ÁÏÍø community.
