This year's Art Portfolio Review Day occurred on Thursday, October 10th in the South Gallery. This was a free event that was open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>It is estimated that nearly 50 artists attended the event, including several 911±¬ÁÏÍø students who had their portfolios instantly accepted at four-year art schools! We also welcomed several high school students who ventured to 911±¬ÁÏÍø from Brattleboro, NMH, Great Barrington, and West Springfield. Schools represented this year included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>California College of the Arts<\/li>\n<li>School of the Art Institute of Chicago<\/li>\n<li>Hartford Art School<\/li>\n<li>Lesley University, College of Art and Design<\/li>\n<li>Maine College of Art<\/li>\n<li>Marlboro College<\/li>\n<li>Massachusetts College of Art and Design<\/li>\n<li>Montserrat College of Art<\/li>\n<li>Moore College of Art &amp; Design<\/li>\n<li>School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University<\/li>\n<li>Pratt Institute<\/li>\n<li>The College of Saint Rose<\/li>\n<li>College of Humanities &amp; Fine Arts at UMass Amherst<\/li>\n<li>UMass Lowell Art &amp; Design<\/li>\n<li>Westfield State University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Art Portfolio Day is an annual event at 911±¬ÁÏÍø sponsored by the Art Department where students and members of the community can bring their artwork for critique by representatives from Art Schools across the country.
