Welcome to 911±¬ÁÏÍø! <\/strong>Orientation gives you the inside scoop<\/strong> on the tools, resources and tips you need to navigate college systems and make the most of your education.<\/div>\n

Who needs to register for orientation?<\/h3>\n

The three<\/strong> parts of Orientation are mandatory for new students or those returning after three or more years, who are enrolled in a degree or certificate program, and are planning to carry six or more credits this semester\u2014but all new students are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n

How do I register for Orientation?<\/h3>\n

As soon as you enroll in a fall or spring class, you'll get an invitation to register for Orientation via email or text. Click the embedded link to choose your customized Orientation schedule!<\/p>\n

What are the three mandatory parts of Orientation?<\/h3>\n

Part 1: Secrets to Success<\/strong>\u2014Get set up for success with an introduction to the online and campus tools and services that you'll need to navigate college life. You'll learn about academic advising, where to find critical forms and information and habits of a successful student! If you need support logging into our web-based platforms for the first time, we'll help with that too! Offered online.
\nNote that dual enrollment students do not need to complete Secrets to Success\u2014your group advising session covers this material!<\/em><\/p>\n

Part 2: 911±¬ÁÏÍø 101<\/strong>\u2014Learn all about 911±¬ÁÏÍø resources, culture and connections. Learn who's who and what's what and how to avoid some common pitfalls\u2014your questions answered and fears relieved by our fabulous Orientation Leaders! Available online and in-person.<\/p>\n

Part 3: How to Moodle<\/strong>\u2014Learn the basics of our online learning platform, Moodle, which is critical for both virtual and in-person classes. Available online as a both a self-guided or student-led workshop.<\/p>\n

What else can I do to get ready for 911±¬ÁÏÍø?<\/h3>\n
