At 911±¬ÁÏÍø we use multiple measures to determine which English and math courses are right for you.Many students take ACCUPLACER tests, but there are other ways to determine placement. By submitting official documentation from the lists below to the Office of Admission, you may be able to enroll directly into college-level English and math classes without completing placement tests or developmental pre-requisites first. Students currently in high school or who graduated high school within the last three (3) years can place into any of the following by providing a high school transcript that shows a B (83) or better in Algebra II, IMP 3, IMP 4, Pre-calculus or Calculus and a high school GPA of 2.7 or higher. Students place into if their GED English & Language Arts score is 165 or higher OR if HiSET Reading & Writing scores are 15 or higher. Students place into any math "gateway course" below if their GED Mathematics Reasoning score is 165 or higher (we do not accept HiSET scores for mathematics placement). If a student's SAT verbal score prior to 2016 was 501-600, then they are exempt from taking the ACCUPLACER Reading test but must take the ACCUPLACER WritePlacer test; if pre-2016 SAT verbal score was 601 or higher, the student can place directly into . We do not accept SAT mathematics scores for placement.
